Apple has launched Apps Store for MAC
Guys Apple has given gift of the New Year to their users, Yesterday on 6th of Jan Apple has released the final update on Mac Operating system version is 10.6.6 previously all the bugs have been settle down. And also added much more participated appstore for Mac.
As per Apple official statement , the applications are is over 1000 paid and premium and free applications in the categories ranging from game to productivity.
As far as the company's mobile store is concern the store is available for iPad and iphone, user can find out the apps, what's new, users favorites, find the best category.
The Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in his statement about apple store. “We think users are going to love this innovative , new way to discover and buy their favorite apps from one place from any time from any where.”
The worst part of this release that this version is not available for every Mac user but its particularly available for Mac Os x 10.6 Snow Leopard users so that they can replace/ update their previous version to this current version free OS 10.6.6 update.
The new version of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion is expected to be launched in the mid of this year.
For Developers, Apple is maintaining the same revenue- sharing policy it has in place for its mobile app store. Developers created apps if they sold they will be paid 70 percent of the revenue generated from sales and 30% Apple will take. And you know Developers are offering to Apple free apps they won't charged any single penny so that their programs should be available in the Mac marketplace which is very good for them.
Developers offering free apps won’t be charged anything to make their programs available in the Mac marketplace.
